SLFE is pleased to announce that three of our employees have won this year's Annual Oil & Gas President's Award. 

The aim of these awards is to showcase the excellence and dedication our people demonstrate, and to celebrate the exceptional work that is being done day in and day out to make our business a success. 

There are three award categories, each with its own explicit criteria: Safety Excellence, Commitment and Dedication, and Outstanding Achievement. 

Each of our winners met the required criteria, consistently demonstrated the SNC-Lavalin values and have personally made an exceptional contribution to the organization, raising the standard in performance excellence.

Shareholders Visit to SLFE Offices

News Released: February 2019

Mr. Neil Bruce, President and CEO, SNC-Lavalin and Dr. Zuhair Fayez visited the SLFE offices in Feb 2019. Both shareholders, along with SNC-Lavalin executives, met the SLFE senior leadership team to discuss 2018 results and the look ahead for 2019. In addition, Mr. Neil provided an update on SNC-Lavalin’s KSA operations and shared his thoughts on the current challenges / opportunities in the Oil and Gas industry.

Fatimah Albuainain - the first Arab woman to be a certified BICSI Outside Plant Designer

News Released: 16 January 2019

SLFE is proud to announce a recent milestone achieved by one of our USUS program female employees, Fatimah Albuainain, Communication Designer, who became the 1st ever Arab woman to successfully pass the examination requirements to become a Certified Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Outside Plant (OSP) Designer.

Currently, there are only a total of 14 BICSI OSP certified designers in the Middle East and Africa, including Fatimah and 1 other female.

10M Safe Man-hour Achievement

HCIS Certification

News Released: 30 November 2018

SLFE is now approved by High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) as a security consultant for the below listed activities. This increases our service offering to our various clients seeking approved HCIS Consultants.

  • Stage 1: Security Risk Assessment (SRA) & Concept of Design (COD)
  • Stage 2: Preliminary security design development & Contractor RFP preparation
  • Stage 3: Certification of detail design & device selection developed by security contractor
  • Stage 4: Monitor the following:
    • Testing & commissioning of security systems
    • Review policy, procedures and post orders implementation as developed by FO
    • Completion of initial training of FO security personnel on security systems operation
